Import pictures

Configuration:
You'll need extra software to automatically create thumbnail-pictures!
I downloaded "Easy Thumbnails" which does the job just fine.
IMPORTANT: AFTER INSTALLING "Easy Thumbnails" OPEN THE PROGRAM TO DEACTIVATE THE AUTO-UPDATE REMINDER MESSAGE!!!!
if you don't you'll be asked to select this feature with every image uploaded, which is not very efficient when adding hundreds of photos.
Create album:
- go to "album list" and hit the button "add new album"
- enter the name and description
- you can already activate the album and block behaviour if you want
- the "selecting album picture" is available after importing your images
- to create a more detailed structure you can add "sub-albums"; the procedure is the same as above
Upload images:
- once you've created your album(s) you can start uploading your images
- hit "import pictures" on the left
- select your album and sub-album
- enter a keyword (works with the search function)
- select if you want the original image to be stored in the database
- after uploading your images you can select an "album picture" --> see Create album
Editing images:
- find your images by i.e. clicking "pictures by album"
- double-click the image
- you can rotate, attach or replace and also add additional text to the picture (works with the search function)
